What You'll Do

  • Build and lead the company's utility-scale project development organization.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle from project conception through commercial operation, including land acquisition, transmission interconnection, permitting, engineering coordination, procurement, construction, and project handover.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a multidisciplinary team across development, engineering, project management, permitting, environmental, procurement, and related functions.
  • Develop the organizational structure, processes, and governance required to support a growing development platform.
  • Partner closely with the CEO and COO on strategic planning, capital deployment, investment decisions, and future growth initiatives.
  • Lead relationships with utilities, consultants, engineering firms, contractors, regulatory agencies, landowners, and other external stakeholders.
  • Drive execution across multiple utility-scale infrastructure projects while balancing schedule, budget, risk, and commercial objectives.
  • Help identify and pursue future development opportunities that expand the company's long-term infrastructure business.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience leading utility-scale energy infrastructure or power generation projects.
  • Deep understanding of the complete project development lifecycle from early-stage development through construction and operations.
  • Proven experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing technical organizations.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business decisions for executive leadership and clients.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience managing large capital programs and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Executive presence with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • A builder's mindset with the ability to create structure, processes, and teams within a growing organization.
