Role & Responsibilities

• Managing design quality, budget alignment & program adherence simultaneously.
• Managing design consultants daily, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and best practice standards.
• Managing and coordinating the Authority requirements and Permitting process/procedures with the local Authorities, Client and Contractors involved.
• Managing and coordinating the overall design and development process in coordination with the client’s wider project and delivery team.
• Cooking with and coordinating the client’s procurement team in the preparation and execution of consultant bidder’s lists, RFPs, and technical evaluations.
• Ensuring consultant submissions are complete and comply with the deliverable lists identified in the consultant’s contract.
• Facilitating expedient consultant invoicing & stage payments.
• Preparing and presenting stage-gate presentations to the client’s management.
• Managing material submission and approvals.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities

• Evaluate design consultant work, edit contracts if needed, and review payments.
• Supervise and coordinate design changes and revisions of design and construction drawings.
• Assess shop drawings for correctness and alignment with approved plans and design intent.
• Organize and contribute to designing and developing design and construction delivery strategies.
• Maintain records and prepare reports and presentations on design and development projects.
• Provide design feedback and recommendations to align with the approved direction and design intent.
• Oversee site inspections to check development project progress and to confirm compliance with regulations and specifications.
