About the role
The Head of Design will lead the design strategy and vision for our product. This role requires a deep understanding of user needs and market trends, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive design strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure design solutions meet business objectives.
- Lead the design process from concept through implementation, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet both aesthetic and functional standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in design, and incorporate these insights into ongoing projects.
- Manage a team of designers, providing mentorship and career development opportunities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in design, with at least 5 years leading design teams.
- A proven track record of delivering successful design projects that have positively impacted business outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies, particularly those used in design and user experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change within an organization.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Knowledge of design principles and methodologies, including usability testing, prototyping, and user research.
Skills
- Expertise in design software such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of design thinking and its application in product development.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work remotely and adapt to a hybrid schedule.

Pay
Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
