Head of Customer Marketing

This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the customer storytelling program to share customer success stories
• Establish an executive advisory board for feedback and advocacy
• Source and interview customers for case studies and promotional content
• Manage customer speakers for public and internal events
• Oversee peer review programs to maintain leader status on review platforms
• Design and optimize advocacy programs using data-driven insights
• Collaborate with executives and customer-facing teams to nurture customer advocate relationships
• Build scalable feedback systems to capture customer insights

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with 3+ years in a supervisory role
• 7+ years in customer advocacy, managing individual contributors
• Experience with a developer or software engineering audience
• Proven track record of building scalable operational frameworks
• Strong ability to foster one-on-one relationships with customers
• Familiarity with customer advocacy tools like Champion and UserEvidence
• Strong analytical skills with experience in CRM tools like Salesforce and Gainsight
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay

$145,000 – $200,000 annually
