A proprietary trading firm with offices in Chicago, New York City, and Miami is actively hiring a technology and team lead for its core development team, with potential to serve as Chief Technology Officer. The firm specializes in algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies across equities, options, and futures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a core C++ low-latency development team of approximately 10–20 engineers
• Architect, optimize, and maintain trading systems and infrastructure
• Drive performance, stability, and scalability of core trading platforms

Requirements

• Strong background in C++ low-latency trading systems
• Proven leadership experience managing software engineering teams
• Experience with algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies

Compensation

$250,000 – $400,000 base salary plus performance bonus.
