About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Head Of Content Innovation to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Santa Monica, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive entertainment and content innovation across development and launch phases
• Define visions for new entertainment formats merging storytelling, interactivity, and technology
• Establish a repeatable development pipeline for multiple launches annually
• Collaborate cross-functionally to bring new concepts to market
• Create culturally relevant experiences aligned with key events and moments
• Identify opportunities to enhance engagement and differentiate the company's platform
• Shape sponsorship and monetization strategies for premium partnerships

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in original interactive entertainment development
• Proven track record of launching consumer-facing experiences from concept to execution
• Familiarity with content, gaming, and technology intersections
• Strong creative instincts with a knack for identifying culturally relevant ideas
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through influence rather than direct authority
• Background in building initiatives from zero-to-one in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and inclusive leadership skills

Compensation

$280,000 – $350,000 annually
