About the role
Head of Community
Build and scale the community engine that powers Alpaca Health's growth across families, providers, and referral partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and executing local family-focused events in core markets.
- Building relationships with community organizations, schools, pediatricians, nonprofits, and autism-related groups.
- Representing Alpaca at resource fairs, community events, and local gatherings.
- Developing repeatable playbooks for launching and growing local community presence in new markets.
- Measuring and improving event attendance, engagement, and referral outcomes.
- Organizing provider networking events, happy hours, and local meetups.
- Coordinating Alpaca's presence at industry conferences and professional events.
- Creating ongoing engagement programs for BCBAs, RBTs, and practice owners.
- Fostering a strong sense of belonging among providers within the Alpaca ecosystem.
- Building and managing affiliate partnerships with organizations serving families and providers.
- Identifying and cultivating relationships with influencers, content creators, and community advocates.
- Developing co-marketing opportunities to expand Alpaca's reach and credibility.
- Tracking partnership performance and continuously improving ROI across channels.
- Creating scalable systems for event planning, sponsorships, partnerships, and community engagement.
- Managing event budgets, logistics, vendors, and timelines.
- Using AI and automation to increase efficiency across community operations.
- Building dashboards and reporting to measure community growth, engagement, referrals, and partner performance.
Qualifications
- Extremely ambitious and comfortable working hard and moving fast.
- AI-native, using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar tools to build leverage in work.
- Systems thinker who instinctively turns chaos into repeatable processes.
- Energized by meeting people and building authentic relationships.
- Willing to travel frequently to support local market growth and community-building efforts.
- Experience enabling community members to host their own events.
- Cares deeply about supporting clinicians, families, and locally owned healthcare businesses.
