About the role
Carlisle Lloyd Motor Group are excited to announce a rare fantastic opportunity for a talented Head of Business to lead the team at Lloyd Volkswagen Carlisle. We are looking for an experienced Head of Business, preferably from the Volkswagen retail network (or equivalent automotive retail business), to lead a team of circa 50 people and develop the business to the next level. Lloyd Motor Group, founded in 1976, is one of the UK's largest family-run car retailer groups with 40 retailers across Northern England and Southern Scotland, representing prestigious brands including BMW, MINI, Land Rover, BYD, Volvo, Kia, Volkswagen, Skoda, INEOS, Honda motorcycles and BMW Motorrad, known for exceptional customer service and a supportive culture that values contribution, invests in development, and empowers growth.
Responsibilities
- Prioritise customer experience and ensure that a premium experience is consistently delivered through all business operations.
- Lead the whole business to maximise performance, deliver results, and achieve objectives, working towards the agreed vision and executing approved strategy.
- Ensure the business thrives and grows; safeguarding the business, the franchise and its long-term stability, sustainability and success.
- Act as an ambassador for Lloyd Motor Group and the Volkswagen group brands and products; live by the brand values and inspire others to follow this example.
- Prioritise employee engagement and development whilst maximising the performance delivered by the entire workforce.
