About the role
This role reports to the Global Head of Alternative Sales and is responsible for the North America sales strategy for the Alternative Investments business including private equity, real estate and hedge fund solutions. The current Alternatives business includes approximately $28B in AUM.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive sales strategy for Alternatives across North America
- Prioritize key initiatives by region and segment to ensure appropriate solution focus
- Partner with 3rd party investment managers to deliver training and sales support with clients and Advisors/Bankers
- Sales Material – work with Alternatives Research and Product teams to develop and enhance internal and external presentations & marketing materials for offerings; ensure regional needs are met with global consistency and sharing of best practices
- Roadshow Management – work with Bankers and Investment Counselors to schedule and effect in person and/or digital meetings; ensure effective use of time, conveyance of messaging, and aggregation of feedback
Qualifications
- Location: New York
- BS/BA in finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
- 15+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude among fast-changing environment and priorities
- Demonstrable Alternative Investments sales experience
- Strong organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to work productively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong presentation skills in both small and large settings
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to travel
