Head Nordic Coach (SAHS)

Location: Stillwater Area High School

Purpose: To provide an opportunity for the development of the fundamental skills necessary to participate in a high school Nordic ski program. Primary responsibility will be the organization and implementation of the program.

Responsibilities

• Daily coaching duties, including practice plans, practice schedules, games, and clinics
• Run a multi-level program
• Additional coaching duties as assigned by the athletic director and principal
• Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Coaches

Requirements

• Successful experience as an assistant or head Nordic ski coach is preferred
• Participated in high school and/or college Nordic ski

Schedule

• 13 weeks
• After school and Saturday practices and games, 5-6 days per week
• Scheduled meets and clinics

Pay

Time points plus service points.
