Assistant Nordic Coach (SAHS)

Location: Stillwater Area High School, Stillwater, MN

About the role

To provide an opportunity for the development of the fundamental skills necessary to participate in a high school Nordic ski program. Primary responsibility will be the organization and implementation of the program.

Responsibilities

• Daily coaching duties, including practice plans and schedules
• Organization of games and clinics
• All other coaching duties as assigned by the head coach, athletic director, and principal
• Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Coaches

Qualifications

• Successful experience as an assistant or head Nordic ski coach is preferred
• Participation in high school and/or college Nordic ski

Schedule

• 14-week activity season
• After-school and Saturday practices and games, 5-6 days per week
• Scheduled meets and clinics
