Head Insulation Technician

At USA Insulation, we specialize in retrofitting existing homes with proprietary injection foam wall insulation, attic blown-in insulation, and crawlspace insulation. We help homeowners cut energy bills and make their homes more comfortable year-round. We're growing, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

About the role

The Head Insulation Technician leads the crew on the job site every day. You'll be running injection foam wall jobs, attic insulation, and crawlspace work — measuring, prepping, installing, and making sure the job is done right the first time. This isn't a desk job. You're on your feet, in attics, in crawlspaces, and on ladders. Experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person on the technical side. What we can't train is work ethic and dependability — that's on you.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the crew on daily insulation jobs — wall injection foam, attic blown-in, and crawlspace insulation
• Assess each job site and determine the right approach and materials for the space
• Measure, prep, and install insulation to spec, sealing gaps and joints for maximum efficiency
• Operate and maintain equipment (injection rigs, blowers, etc.) safely and correctly
• Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe — this is a reflection of our company
• Follow all safety protocols and use PPE properly, every time
• Communicate with customers on-site professionally — answer questions, explain the work, leave them confident in the job
• Train and mentor newer crew members as the team grows
• Spot problems before they become issues and figure out solutions on the fly

Requirements

• Current, valid driver's license — non-negotiable
• Dependable, above everything else. Show up on time, every time.
• Strong work ethic — you're not afraid to put in the work
• Mature, level-headed, and a self-starter — a go-getter who doesn't need to be told twice
• A real problem solver — someone who thinks through a situation instead of just working through it
• Physically able to lift, carry, and work in attics, crawlspaces, and tight spaces
• Comfortable working as part of a team and taking the lead when needed

Prior insulation or construction experience is a plus, but not required — we'll teach the trade.

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
