Position: Head: Innovation Acceleration and Growth Job type Full Time Category Administration Location / Branch University of Namibia / Main Campus Closing Date 21 August 2026 (2 weeks from now) Job Description The incumbent in this job will be tasked with responsibilities of ensuring the successful transformation of innovative research outputs generated by researchers, students, and staff of UNAM into prototypes products and processes for commercialization. He/she will work with researchers and students from research project development to prototype and incubation stages leading to commercialization. He/she will also, assist the Director in providing high-level administrative and operational support for effective and efficient management and administration of business functions in the Center for Innovation and Development. Assist with resource mobilization to solicit funds for incubation and product/ prototype development. Furthermore, the incumbent may be assigned other tasks as may be required. Requirements A master's degree in business management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or equivalent qualification with track record of having worked in an innovation & acceleration, environment and community engagement. at least five (5) years relevant working experience in Business acceleration, entrepreneurship mentorship and coaching, incubation leading to product and services development with sound understanding of innovation value.
