Head Girls Flag Football Coach

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate or such alternatives as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
• CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification
• National Federation of High School Concussion certification

Fair Labor Standards Act status determined at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support an athletic program that aligns youth, middle school, and high school sports
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the rules and fundamentals of the assigned sport
• Adhere to all policies and guidelines set forth by the Athletic Handbook and MSHSAA rules and regulations
• Maintain a safe and conducive environment to promote wholesome athletic competition
• Foster positive relations and team morale with students, parents, staff, community, and media
• Field a competitive team and substitute players as part of a well-organized plan
• Attend professional development with guidance from the Athletic Director to support in-service instruction and off-season preparation
• Promote academic achievement through high standards of academic performance
• Maintain, issue, and provide an accurate inventory of school equipment
• Actively build participation, conditioning, and training through camps and individual contacts
• Maximize off-season and summer training and development opportunities
• Work under and adhere to ISD Board Policies and Regulations

Terms of Employment

The Head Coach will be a seasonal employee. Salary and work year will be established annually by the Board of Education.

Performance will be evaluated by the immediate supervisor using the Head Coach Performance Based Evaluation.
