Head Coach, Womens Lacrosse

About the role

The Head Coach, Women's Lacrosse is responsible for overseeing all aspects of coaching a highly competitive NCAA lacrosse program. This includes recruiting student athletes, monitoring student-athlete academic performance, coordinating practices, pre and post-game meetings, team strength and conditioning activities, team travel and meal arrangements, monitoring team budgets and promoting events and activities within athletics and the institution.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting student athletes
• Maintain and monitor student-athlete academic performance
• Coordinate practices, pre and post-game meetings, team strength and conditioning activities
• Manage team travel and meal arrangements
• Monitor team budgets and promote events and activities
• Manage and lead the team budget
• Evaluate physical skills and provide training techniques
• Teach critical skills, competitive skills, and tactical strategies
• Work with the athletic training staff and other university staff
• Travel and work evenings and weekends as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Collegiate level competition and/or coaching experience
• Valid driver license with good driving record

Benefits

Travel is a requirement of this position. Evening and weekend hours are also required.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
