Reporting to the Area Manager, the Head Coach is responsible for tasks that support the studio’s success and [solidcore]’s mission to be the fastest growing and most successful boutique fitness studio. The Head Coach role models exceptional coaching qualities and coaches an average of eleven (11) classes per week.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the studio’s lead coach, maintaining a full schedule of 11 classes per week
- Set the example and expectations for new and existing coaches
- Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience consistent with [solidcore] standards
- Meet company utilization and retention expectations on both an individual and studio level
- Take direction from the Area Manager to assist with day-to-day studio operations
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and create long-term community partnerships
- Provide coach development, delivering informal and formal feedback, and support new coach trainings in-person
- Assist with client requests and resolve concerns promptly and effectively
- Maintain product knowledge for studio retail operations, including class packages, promotions, and apparel
- Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, conducting inventory, and maintaining sales logs
- Ensure the studio and equipment remain impeccable and fully-functioning at all times
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible and variable availability including weekends and holidays to accommodate coach training schedules and business needs
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, specifically Excel and Google Sheets

- 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience

- Comfortable leading a fast-paced class on a mic with loud music and high energy
- Ability to model the [solidcore] brand and culture and serve as a lead representative of the [solidcore] community

Pay
Compensation range: $74,000 - $82,000 per year
Schedule
This is a permanent, exempt, full-time position with an expected 40 hours per week (including classes coached).
