About the role
Head coaches for Boys Team camp are responsible for supervising and coaching children ages 14-18 during camp. Head Coaches are expected to provide a fun learning environment while also ensuring campers are safe. The position requires the ability to teach the game of soccer and to work well with others in a professional manner.
Keene State College is located in the scenic Monadnock region of Southwest New Hampshire and is an affiliate of the University System of New Hampshire. Located approximately 2 hours from Boston or Hartford CT, and 4 hours from New York City, the region contains many opportunities to enjoy outdoor recreation, cultural events, and a strong sense of community.
Responsibilities
- Oversee campers and ensure a safe environment while they are on Keene State’s Campus
- Engage with campers in a professional manner while creating a fun and inviting environment
- Teach basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting
- Coach basic concepts of soccer
- Communicate group news and plans with camp administration
- Adjust to daily schedules and work with other teams
Requirements
- Coaching experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work with others
Skills
- Teaching the technical and tactical skills of the game of soccer
Pay
Pay Range: $1,600.00
Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
