What You Will Be Doing

  • Facilitating structured one-hour workshops on life competencies (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for elementary and middle school cohorts (K-8), executing Alpha's established playbook rather than creating original content
  • Conducting motivational interventions leveraging student performance data and Alpha's incentive architecture (campus currency, performance rankings) to achieve 100% goal completion across your cohort
  • Developing Guides through coaching focused on program adherence and standards execution, ensuring each session yields concrete performance improvements
  • Managing your own student cohort concurrently with Guide development responsibilities
  • Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal attainment rates, and Guide performance indicators on a weekly basis to identify underperformance early

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or tutoring in subject areas
  • Creating original curriculum or developing lesson materials independently
  • Training Guides on instructional pedagogy
  • Accepting 99% performance as sufficient
  • Serving as the campus emotional support person

Basic Requirements

  • Available for on-campus work at: Atlanta, GA; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Austin, TX; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; The Woodlands (Houston), TX (relocation assistance available)
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline
  • 5+ years in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or equivalent field
  • Demonstrated leadership of teams comprising 5 or more adults, including responsibility for hiring and performance-based termination decisions
  • Hands-on experience working with children aged 5-14 in educational or developmental contexts
  • Experience building, launching, or substantially scaling a program, team, business, school, or initiative from inception
  • Documented practice of using metrics and data to establish weekly objectives and inform strategic decisions, not merely for reporting purposes
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related discipline
  • Experience coaching athletics, leading experiential or outdoor programs, managing camps, or directing youth ministry at scale with cohort management and outcome measurement
  • Transitioned from classroom instruction to program leadership roles in EdTech, tutoring enterprises, youth-focused nonprofits, or school intervention systems
  • Early-career evidence of exceptional individual achievement — academic, athletic, or professional — prior to leadership transition
  • Conviction that existing educational systems require fundamental redesign and personal commitment to that transformation
