About the role
The role of Head Baker at our bakery involves overseeing the production of high-quality breads, pastries, and other baked goods. The Head Baker works closely with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of taste and quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily baking operations, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality control standards.
- Train and manage a team of bakers and pastry chefs.
- Develop new recipes and product ideas to enhance the bakery’s offerings.
- Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to plan menus and coordinate with other kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial bakery setting.
- Proven track record of managing a team and leading projects.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Pay
$XX per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed.
