About the role
Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a Head Baker to lead a dynamic team offering a unique menu of artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads made with honest, whole ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate superhero abilities in the kitchen, from following recipes to paying close attention to details to create one-of-a-kind breads.
- Lift large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. daily.
- Work through change and remain flexible while maintaining a keen eye on the kitchen operations.
- Work afternoons and evenings, with occasional overnight shifts during holiday seasons.
Requirements
- Proven track record of excellence in the kitchen.
- Ability to comply with local, state, and federal regulations for food handler and sanitation standards.
- Leadership experience in restaurants or retail.
- At least 18 years old.
Qualifications
- Formal culinary education is a plus.

Schedule
Bread Baking shifts are usually from 11am - 7pm, with a shift on Sunday (when the store is closed). During holiday seasons, the Bread Baking team may work overnight shifts.
