Head and Neck Malignancies Clinician-Educator
Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center are seeking a full-time medical oncology faculty member with a focus on head and neck cancers. This position is on the non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator track at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
About the Role
The Division of Hematology/Oncology is expanding due to programmatic success. The successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, providing care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Opportunities for collaboration and participation within the Division’s Developmental Therapeutics Program are available.
Facilities include a modern 900-bed teaching hospital, outpatient clinic, extensive basic research facilities, and a large cancer center-supported clinical research office.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in teaching, research, and clinical trials.
- Engage in translational research, developmental therapeutics, and innovative clinical trial design.
Requirements
- MD degree.
- Board certification in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology.
- Licensure.
Pay
The expected base pay range for this position is $270,456 - $371,356. The final pay offered will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, training, departmental budget, internal comparators, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
