About the role

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco, is seeking an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the fields of head and neck, skin, and thoracic malignancies.

Responsibilities

• Attend tumor boards at the University, Veterans Administration, and county health system.
• Develop and lead a robust independent research program focused on translational science, clinical trials, or medical education.
• Provide outstanding clinical care and administrative skills.
• Participate in clinical patient care activities, clinical trials, perform active research, and publish.

Requirements

• Board certified in Radiation Oncology with significant experience in a variety of radiotherapy techniques, including superficial radiation, IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT.
• Completion of ACGME Residency Training in Radiation Oncology with four years or more of clinical expertise in head and neck, skin, and thoracic cancers.

• Curriculum Vitae - CV must clearly list current and/or pending qualifications (e.g. board eligibility/certification, medical licensure, etc.).
• Statement of Research.
• Statement of Teaching.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.

Pay

The salary is open to negotiation. The minimum base salary range for this position is $154,700-$405,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
