Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field is preferred. NC state approved training for Housing and Tenancy Supports is required. NC Certified Peer Support Certification is required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience working with adults who have a mental illness and/or substance abuse diagnosis.
• Travel Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and insurance required. Travel will vary depending on the daily schedule for this position. All travel is in the community where the members live and work.

• Knowledge regarding Assertive Community Treatment Teams and the services that are provided.
• Knowledge of recovery principles.
• Knowledge of community resources concentrating on housing opportunities.
