Ambercare is immediately hiring Home Care Aides to provide personal care, companionship, and support services in clients’ homes. Despite challenging economic conditions caused by COVID‑19, Ambercare continues to hire in New Mexico and has implemented comprehensive safety policies based on CDC guidelines, providing PPE such as gloves, face masks, hand sanitizer, and antibacterial soap to employees, and offering virtual job interviews as a safety measure. The role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time hours, opportunities to advance to Certified Nurse Assistant through the Ambercare Caregiver‑to‑CNA Program, and a supportive environment backed by over 20 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care
• Provide occasional house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport clients to appointments and daily errands
• Provide companionship
• Encourage a healthy lifestyle

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in‑home care services experience
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable, energetic, self‑motivated and well‑organized
