Despite challenging economic conditions caused by COVID‑19, Ambercare continues to hire in New Mexico and has implemented comprehensive safety policies based on CDC guidelines, providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, face masks, hand sanitizer, and anti‑bacterial soap to employees, as well as offering virtual job interviews as a safety measure. Ambercare also supports career growth through its Caregiver‑to‑CNA Program, allowing current caregivers to become Certified Nurse Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care
- Provide occasional house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
- Transport clients to appointments and daily errands
- Provide companionship

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or one year of in‑home care services experience
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation
- Reliable, energetic, self‑motivated, and well‑organized

Pay
Pay rates start at $12.45 per hour, with bonus pay available and daily pay offered for select positions.
