HC Lead Server

Dallas Retirement Village in Dallas, OR is seeking a hospitality-focused leader to oversee dining room operations, mentor team members, and deliver exceptional resident experiences.

About the Role

As a Lead Server, you’ll combine hands-on resident service with leadership responsibilities to maintain a welcoming dining environment. You’ll help ensure dining standards, cleanliness, and service excellence are consistently achieved while supporting daily operations and team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining room operations while serving meals and assisting residents
• Train and mentor dining staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
• Monitor dining room appearance, cleanliness, and pantry organization
• Maintain food safety, sanitation standards, and temperature documentation
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and handling procedures
• Assist with dishwashing, cleaning duties, and staff training programs
• Collaborate with residents, staff, and leadership to enhance the dining experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Minimum one year of customer service experience
• Food service or restaurant experience (preferred)
• Leadership, trainer, or team lead experience (preferred)
• Oregon Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to complete ServSafe training
• Strong customer service, hospitality, and communication skills
• Ability to mentor and support team members
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Professional, dependable, and service-oriented attitude
