About the Role

Software Architect for a web-based system used by applicants to submit applications for operating Legally Exempt child care programs in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Work in coordination with a team of developers to write the new Child Care Assistance system in .NET Core.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst on analysis and logical design.
• Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs.
• Perform complex VB.Net coding.
• Assist with responding to CCAA data requests.
• Work under the direction of a Technical Lead, Project Manager, and Software Architect.
• Write complex stored procedures and triggers in an Oracle database utilizing PL/SQL.
• Make high-level design choices and dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
• Design multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.

Requirements

• 84+ months of experience as a Software Architect, providing guidance to large teams and/or possessing extensive industry experience at the top of the field.
• 84 months of experience leading the technical aspects for applications utilizing N-Tier architecture.
• 84 months of experience with PL/SQL writing packages, stored procedures, and triggers.
• 48 months of experience interfacing PowerBuilder applications with VB.Net systems.
• 48 months of experience developing applications utilizing Web Services or WCF.
• 60 months of experience directing/managing the technical development of web-enabled PowerBuilder applications.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
