About the Role
This position is part of the FACTS, PADS, and OMIG System Enhancements project. OMIG’s current systems were designed in a fee-for-service environment and are not equipped to fully support Managed Care data and business processes. The project aims to address comprehensive enhancements to OMIG's systems to support overall program integrity, with a focus on Managed Care activities. These enhancements will improve reporting capabilities, expand data available to drive additional recoveries, and improve efficacy.
Responsibilities
- Attend meetings with program areas responsible for applications impacted by Managed Care.
- Design and program enhancements for impacted applications using both web forms and MVC (Model-View-Controller) architectural patterns.
- Design and program user-friendly interfaces using complex data structures and form layouts.
- Develop and maintain applications in a .NET environment using Team Foundation Server.
Qualifications
- 84+ months of experience as a programmer, with the ability to provide guidance to large teams and/or extensive industry experience at the top of the field.
- 84 months of experience in object-oriented analysis, design, and programming (OOA/OOD/OOP), including Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), N-tier architecture, and Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns.
- 84 months of experience in written and verbal communication, analysis of business requirements, preparation of technical documentation, system design specifications, and communication with technical and business stakeholders.
- 84 months of experience developing, maintaining, and supporting console and web applications using C# and .NET technologies, ComponentOne controls, reusable utilities, APIs, libraries, and related programming components from business analysis and requirements.
- 84 months of experience performing systems analysis and design, including the creation of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), State Transition Diagrams, and both high-level and detailed technical design documentation.
- 60 months of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 and later, developing applications in .NET Core and .NET (versions 8 through 10), with source control experience utilizing Azure DevOps and Git.
- 60 months of proficient SQL language experience in Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, ERDs, stored procedures, indexes, triggers, cursors, views, and user-defined functions (UDFs).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
