About the role
Humboldt Pacific, LLC is a fuel transport company specializing in the safe and efficient delivery of bulk fuel and other petroleum commodities. We provide comprehensive flatbed transportation solutions for both hazmat and non-hazmat loads throughout California, Nevada, and Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Transports deliveries in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company policy and applicable State & Federal regulations.
- Applies knowledge and abilities to safely load and unload deliveries according to the capacity of the load and content description.
- Processes and maintains proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation and submits in a timely manner.
- Maintains communication with dispatch as to any delays or issues during route/shift.
- Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company’s image.
- Performs a daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection checklist, informing maintenance personnel of any issues.
- Maintains a daily, legible DOT log book and submits logbooks as required by company policy.
- Maintains vehicle in a neat and tidy manner.
- Reports all accidents/damages/malfunctions immediately to management as per company policy and procedure.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Class A CDL with TWIC, HAZMAT. A Tank Endorsement is also preferred.
- Minimum of 24 months commercial driving experience.
- No more than 2 major moving violations within a 3 year period.
- No more than 2 accidents within a 3 year period.
- DOT Drug Screening required.
- No Felony convictions.
- No DUI's/ DWI's within the last 7 years.
- No positive or refused drug or alcohol tests.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Must be 23 Years of age or older.
- Able to perform repetitive motion activities throughout the day.
- Able to get into and out of the truck frequently.
- Able to lift and/or move 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Able to work 10-12 hours per day, 5 days/week.

- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis without restrictions.
- Able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.

Pay
$27 (Training, avg. 2 weeks) then $33 Per Hour DOE + Overtime Over 40 Hours/Week + Paid Vacation, Health and 401k Benefits
