SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES & DELIVERABLES
- Adhere to delivery schedules set forth by dispatch
- Perform daily Pre-and Post-Trip of the truck and report mechanical issues to Operations
- Complete physical dip of tanks at the beginning and end of each delivery to verify accurate inventory and safety levels
- Maintain accurate delivery and purchase detail and record on daily log sheet from stop to stop
- Communicate with management and dispatch on client issues or safety concerns
- Maintain relationship with office personnel and respond to questions in a timely manner
- Return daily log Sheet and delivery receipts upon the completion of each shift
- Report all spills and incidents to Operations Manager
- Other duties to be assigned as needed

Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B driver’s license with tanker, combination, and hazmat endorsements
- A minimum of 2 years’ commercial driving experience is preferred but not required
- Must have the ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with mental ability to handle receipts; read maps, road signs, maintain record of duty status, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
- Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance
- Must be available for around the clock trips to accommodate freight movements and must be available for irregular shifts
- Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Dept. of Transportation
- Must satisfactorily pass a drug test
- Must satisfactorily pass an alcohol test (if applicable)
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
- Outside weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing
- Lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
