Hazmat Driver (Class B)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Non-CDL driver with professional box truck driving experience to operate a 26-foot box truck across the Des Moines, IA area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations while delivering a high level of customer service daily.

Responsibilities
- Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations
- Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships
- Operate vehicles safely (up to 26-foot box truck)
- Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate any changes or challenges
- Load and unload cargo; prioritize and organize truck per schedule and needs
- Manage routes as directed to deliver timely, efficient, and effective service
- Comply with DOT regulations, log hours, and handle roadside inspections
- Perform heavy lifting as required
Requirements
- Valid DOT medical card
- Delivery experience with a 26-foot box truck
- Experience in any industry involving manual handling
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- Clean driving record
- Flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections
- Confidence in handling roadside checks (level 1 through 3)
- Proven longevity in past employment
- Strong on-time delivery practices

Pay
Set (non-negotiable) rate of $26.50 per hour with a sign-on bonus for new hires.
