What You Will Do
- Ensure the needs of Haven residents are met including physical, educational, behavioral health, social, spiritual, and safety.
- Provide day-to-day resident interventions including behavioral management, supervision, crisis response, de-escalation, and back-up for HAVEN clinical staff.
- Implement and follow safety sweeps and protocols consistently.
- Schedule client therapy appointments, routine dental appointments, and obtain medical care when needed.
- Coordinate and ensure implementation of after-school and summer activities.
- Provide crisis stabilization services with the treatment team during the day.
- Provide emergency on-call consultation and response for HAVEN clients.
- Maintain current list of residents’ phone privileges and phone log.
- Provide and oversee transportation for residents.
- Participate in weekly clinical staffing team.
- Complete a minimum of 20 hours per month of intervention services per MTP as medically necessary.
Contract Compliance/Accreditation
- Complete QRTP intakes, Medical Passports, DCFS Discharge summaries, and ensure After Care reports are timely.
- Prepare and complete all written documentation per agency and CARF standards in a timely and accurate manner.
- Attend DCFS staffing as needed and complete monthly progress reports on clients and fax to DHS.
- Communicate with Care Coordinators, FSW’s, and CASA Advocates regularly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2-5 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults.
- Highly motivated to work independently to get the job done in the best manner possible.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and make decisions based on extent of responsibility and prioritization.
- Ability to perform duties and complete assigned projects within stated deadlines/timelines without close supervision and in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate with staff, consumers, administration, and the community, both clearly and effectively in person, in writing, and on the telephone.
- Ability to work well under pressure meeting deadlines with efficiency and consistency while maintaining a balance between good physical and mental health and the job requirements.

Pay
This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt (hourly).
Schedule
Work hours: Friday - Monday 8:00 am - 7:00pm (with an hour lunch) or 8:00 am - 6:30pm (with a 30-minute lunch)
