Branch Manager
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for branch operations, including production, staffing, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, cost controls, and profitability targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline teams to drive accountability, engagement, and performance.
- Ensure landscaping services meet or exceed company quality standards and client expectations.
- Oversee staffing plans, hiring, onboarding, and workforce development in partnership with HR and operations leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding promptly to service needs, issues, and opportunities.
- Serve as the senior on-site leader, overseeing daily operations while partnering with corporate teams to drive consistent service delivery, safety, profitability, and growth.
- Develop people, strengthen customer relationships, and scale branch performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, landscape management, operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5–8+ years of progressive management experience in landscaping, construction, facilities services, or a similar field-based industry.
- Proven experience leading managers and large hourly workforces in a labor-intensive environment.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, and operational performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to balance service quality, employee engagement, and profitability.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with scheduling, timekeeping, operational reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and seasonal peaks as required.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience managing a multi-service branch or multi-location operation.
- Knowledge of job costing, production tracking, and operational performance analysis.
- Experience with fleet, equipment, and asset management in a field-based operation.
- Strong customer relationship and account management background.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong teams and develop future leaders.
