Hatchery Maintenance Technician Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general overall maintenance of the facilities and automation equipment utilized in the poult hatching process.
• Work with a variety of tools and equipment including, but not limited to a fork lift, welding equipment, electric drill, electric meter, wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Show problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Adhere to company policies and regulations for bio security, animal welfare and safety.
• Use safety equipment and PPE when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial maintenance experience a plus but not required.
• Strong attendance record and punctuality.
• Commitment to teamwork and consistent performance.
• Good hand eye coordination.
• Good physical condition for constant movement, lifting up to 60 lbs and maneuvering heavy machinery.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Pass background check.

Hours

• 4 days on and 4 days off.
• Flexibility with shifts.
• Hours are 6am-6pm.
• Required to work through holidays if work schedule lands on it.
• Eligible for holiday pay.

Pay

$18.58 - $20.42 per hour depending on experience.
