Hatchery Embrex Crew Operator 3rd Shift

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Pulls correct eggs for the assigned day
• Keeps up with the flow of production
• Feeds the Embrex machine egg flats, ensuring that neither eggs nor equipment is damaged
• Stacks hatcher trays with the flow of production
• Removes empty flats and adds buggy to empty egg
• Moves Hatcher basket trolly to the correct assigned hatcher
• Ensures the equipment is running correctly
• Performs any other duties as assigned

Work Environment/ Physical Demands

• Ability to lift overhead of up to 30 pounds
• Ability to work in a heated environment, temperatures ranging from 80F to 100F
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Working in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion
• Frequent tasks: lifting, turning, twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, grasping, kneeling, reaching forward, pulling, stretching

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
• Good Hand-Eye Coordination

Pay

$19.10 per hour, plus an additional $2.00 for the night shift differential.

Hours: 4:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (hours subject to change)
