Harvest/Seasonal Worker

Duties

• Inspect all raw product when entering our storage buildings/processing facility removing all foreign material.
• Proactively communicate with all departments in professional manner.
• Create and lead a positive and professional atmosphere.

Alternate Position Coverage

• Run various machines during our Harvest Season.
• Machines to include but are not limited to: the pilers, hoggers and collectors.
• Proactively communicate with all departments in professional manner.
• Create and lead a positive and professional atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all harvest equipment and storage facilities prior to receiving raw product.
• Inspect all raw product before entering the storage and raw receiving areas.
• Must keep work area free of foreign material and free of all safety hazards while following our safety procedures and guidelines.
• Train new hires as needed.
• Rotate to different lines to assist with employee breaks and/or for equipment failure.
• To maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• To keep Senior Raw Coordinator informed of daily issues relating to the raw product.
• To attend and participate in meetings, training and continuing education programs internally or externally as deemed appropriate by management.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
