About the role

Gulfeagle Supply is a family‑owned business with over 100 locations nationwide that acquired Kimal Lumber in 2018. Together they provide contractors with superior service: Gulfeagle distributes residential and commercial roofing and building products, while Kimal Lumber supplies dimensional lumber, sheet goods, moldings, roof trusses, windows, and interior/exterior doors. The company serves professional contractors and builders as well as homeowners, building owners, architects, and general contractors. This part‑time position stocks inventory items in the hardware store area and performs miscellaneous tasks as needed by location management.

Responsibilities

• Help customers and provide assistance when needed to help them find hardware store/showroom items
• Restock inventory items as necessary, making sure items are organized and in proper location
• Upkeep of all location showroom areas – inventory is organized, neat and orderly, trash removed, and areas free of clutter
• Maintain daily maintenance of location showroom
• Adhere to company safety rules and procedures
• All other requests as assigned by supervisor or company management

Skills

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, also read and write in English
• Basic knowledge of hardware products that Kimal sells

Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and hear, get on and off forklift machinery in proper and same manner
• Regularly required to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally required to lift up to 100 lbs
• Regularly required to use close vision, distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three‑dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
