About the role
The Engineering Manager will lead a team responsible for the physical integration of cutting-edge technology into heavy machinery, focusing on electronic component development, mounting systems, and kitting solutions. This role bridges hardware, firmware, and mechanical design into a cohesive total system solution, impacting global construction productivity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and empower high-performing engineering teams specializing in electronic component development, mounting systems, and kitting solutions.
- Influence and evolve product development strategies by collaborating closely with cross-functional leadership and global supply chain partners.
- Guide product lifecycle roadmaps from concept to launch, balancing in-house innovation with strategic third-party integrations.
- Champion product excellence by implementing Design for Excellence (DFX) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) best practices.
- Spearhead strategic supplier relationships and new technology adoption to continuously elevate product quality, environmental compliance, and cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams or leaders within an engineering environment.
- Strong background in hardware engineering, electronic component development, or vehicle systems integration (such as cabling, harnessing, or mounting solutions).
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering operating budgets, resource allocation, and product lifecycle roadmaps.
- Deep understanding of product quality methodologies, such as Design for Excellence (DFX) or continuous improvement frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in engineering management or related field.
- Experience in heavy equipment manufacturing or construction industry preferred.
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment machinery, grade control technologies, or digital construction solutions.
- Familiarity with global regulatory, environmental, and hardware cybersecurity compliance standards.

Hiring Range: $160,900.00–$221,300.00
