Primary Responsibilities
- Create Battery Management System-level validation test plans and test specifications.
- Lead the effort to implement and execute automated algorithm performance tests.
- Design, document, and manage test plans based on variants and software release level.
- Deploy and maintain the system.
- Perform test cases on Hardware-In-Loop tester.
- Automate new and existing test specifications using industry standard tools and processes.
- Create Polarion infrastructure for linking validation test cases to requirements.
- Develop test reports and other documentation to support traceability and demonstrate validation which are robust to assessment under ISO 9001, ISO 26262, and ASPICE standards.
- Learn the SW development process and workflow.
- Strive to maintain those guidelines.
- Continuous review and improvement of processes, procedures, and templates.
- Support the Problem Management Process by participating in investigations, 8Ds work packages, and auditing SW changes required to rectify field issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Software, or Controls Engineering.
- 2+ experience working with each of the following tools:
- dSPACE HIL systems.
- dSPACE ConfigurationDesk, ControlDesk and Automation Desk.
- Vector CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape) and scripting tools (CAPL).
- MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience in HIL plant model development using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
- Experience with configuring the HIL system.
- Demonstrate ability to understand complex electronic and mechanical systems.
- Experience working with Polarion for requirement and test case management.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills as well as interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Experience with statistical analysis of data to establish pass/fail criteria.
- Good Test bench Debugging and ECU CAN Log analysis skills.
- Experience and knowledge on testing techniques.
- Experience working in software/system development processes and methodologies in regulated industry areas (E.g. Waterfall, Scrum, Agile, etc.).
- Exposure (certification preferred) to ISO26262 and ASPICE.
- Good to have know-how about BMS domain.
- Good to have Past High Voltage exposure or High Voltage training.
