About the role
The test developer is responsible for:
- Designing test plans based on client requirements and subsystem focus on propulsion electronic control units.
- Developing test cases (DVP&R) for both real and virtual environments.
- Analyzing client standards and technical documentation.
- Bringing technical expertise to PSPV for technical analysis of PRS ECU, supporting and training PSPV teams.
Responsibilities
- Supporting/developing daily activities using agile SCRUM methodology.
- Using SW analysis tools like CANalyzer (Vector).
- Utilizing model-based development techniques with tools such as Matlab/Simulink.
- Having experience in embedded software development.
- Familiarity with the automotive product development V-cycle.
- Displaying analytical and interdisciplinary thinking, problem-solving skills.

Requirements
- Knowledge of agile SCRUM methodology.
- Knowledge of SW analysis tools for electronic control units/network.
- Knowledge in model-based development with tools like Matlab/Simulink.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HIL Hardware in the loop Simulator (dSPACE).
- Experience with vehicle testing.

TESR Member Responsibilities
- Analyze PSPV technical issues and other questions related to its function on partner's solicitation.
- Propose adapted training on its function to PSPV and worldwide EEPS validation teams.
- Contribute to the PRS subsystem project validation plan elaboration during DVP review to ensure necessary activities of its function have been correctly planned.
Design Validation Plan (Test Cases)
- Desirable knowledge on performing tests in a simulator and/or on a vehicle to validate the control system and vehicle interface of the Powertrain electronic control units and related components.
- Specify tests allowing the validation of PRS ECUs of its function in consistency with vehicle project development planning, subsystem validation strategy, and PSPV technical policy.
- Establish and keep up-to-date a planning of test specifications delivery of its function according to vehicle project planning.
- Realize quality reviews of its test specifications and procedures.
- Have knowledge of functionalities implemented on HIL (Hardware In the Loop) bench for test of its function deployment.
- Generate lessons learned from technical issues missed by PSPV on its function and upgrade its technical repository.
- Lead lessons learned actions related to its function's technical repository.
- Optimize the V&V technical repository of its function in a QCDP approach (decrease test number, vehicle need, ease validation means use…).
