Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to join our team. Key responsibilities include performing production test and hardware debug, manufacturing test development, yield, quality, and process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing and troubleshoot analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits down to the component level.
- Review engineering documentation, including schematics, drawings, and test procedures.
- Use electrical test instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and logic analyzers.
- Provide data-driven feedback to engineering teams.
- Define and implement test strategies for new products.
- Support and optimize test processes at Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
- Develop test station procedures and maintenance schedules.
- Analyze test yields and perform failure analysis.
- Prepare pareto charts, yield trends, and summaries.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
- Work with internal design teams and external manufacturing partners.
- Provide training and support for manufacturing test stations.
- Communicate effectively on issues, risks, and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology or related disciplines)
- 5+ years of experience in test engineering or manufacturing support
- Strong background in PCB, mixed-signal, and embedded hardware troubleshooting
- Experience implementing test processes for electronic products
- Proficiency with PC-based test systems and instrumentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Flexible and adaptive across changing priorities
Qualifications
- Local to position location only
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship
Pay
The base salary range for this role is $122,500-$196,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
