Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design high-reliability electronic circuits for commercial and military avionics.
• Define and capture requirements for new hardware designs using enterprise tools such as Jama.
• Perform preliminary design activities such as hardware architecture and design trade-studies.
• Conduct detailed design activities including circuit analysis and schematic generation.
• Provide technical oversight and coordination of circuit card layout.
• Execute functional test and integration of circuit card prototypes.
• Design and build integration support equipment.
• Support electrical qualification testing.
• Assist manufacturing during early unit builds.
• Oversee efforts of less experienced electrical designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and 5 years of relevant experience OR a Masters Degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Digital board design/hardware design.
• Must be a U.S. Person or Permanent Resident (ITAR).

Essential Skills

• Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition Design and Layout.
• Digital board design experience with multi-gigabit serial links.

Pay And Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
