About the role
Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is hiring a Hardware Configuration Analyst - Level 2 located in Chandler, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Cook up modification records for configuration / change management of parts, drawings and assemblies
- Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation
- Ensure release documentation meets quality standards and contractual marking requirements
- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
- Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system
Requirements
- High School degree with 4 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree 0 years of experience
- Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro proficiency
- Ability to obtain U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Qualifications
- Understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and industry best practices for Configuration Data Management (CDM)
- Soft skills including attention to detail, communication, problem solving and judgement, teamwork, high quality results
- Experience with parts management, drawing release / change management, processing Bills of Materials
- Experience with Change/File Management (PLM) tool(s) desirable (i.e. TeamCenter)
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools desirable (i.e. CostPoint, SAP)
Skills
- Knowledge of CDM principles and practices
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Benefits
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00
