About the role

C/A Design, Inc., a part of the Heico Companies, is seeking a Hardware/Assembler for its new 120k sf state-of-the-art facility in Exeter, New Hampshire. The mission is to protect the Warfighter, and this role plays a crucial part in the Assembly team.

Responsibilities

  • Strive towards a culture of proactive safety.
  • 100% inspect work pieces for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.
  • Install various components of hardware per specifications or direction from manager.
  • Follow Job Travelers for specific routing steps to be performed.
  • Log activity in ERP system for time and piece count tracking requirements.
  • Maintain traceability of parts and work orders as parts move through finishing.
  • Clean work areas, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe work area as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Autobody finishing experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with using non-electric hand tools preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read internal drawings and use basic measuring equipment.
  • Fine attention to detail.
  • Commitment to quality.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule is flexible and includes a mix of day and night shifts.
