Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma/GED is preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in wire harness production, aerospace manufacturing, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of soldering, wire crimping and testing equipment is preferred.
  • Skills: Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to read, comprehend and create written and verbal instruction in English. Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work well both individually and in a team setting, are required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of production to ensure financial and customer requirements are met.
  • Demonstrate outstanding abilities in conflict resolution, leadership presence, and organizational management.
  • Develop strategy to grow technically and manufacture harnesses with higher quality.
  • Demonstrate ability to inspect and identify non-compliant products and processes.
  • Develop strategy to support team development and rate manufacturing environment.
  • Handle any material types issued to production.
  • Create a safe work environment for production teams.
  • Track project completion timelines to support on time delivery.
  • Ensure manufacturing tools and equipment function properly.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and 50+ pounds with assistance.
  • Operate a pallet jack with training.
  • Utilize ladders and step stools as needed to reach high items.
  • Sustain periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
  • Use a high level of manual dexterity.
  • Use close vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and adjust focus.
  • Work in a noise level that is generally low.
