Hanger - Fabrication Shop

About the role

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Hanger to support the Fabrication Shop. The Hanger is responsible for creating the hangers used to hang pipe in varying projects that the company completes. This job must be done in a timely and accurate manner, while working with small details and intricate designs. This role requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment with a focus on detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Pick materials needed to complete each project
• Read and interpret blueprints/sketches to measure and cut rod accordingly
• Assemble pipe hangers efficiently and accurately
• Bag, bundle, and band materials as directed
• Input information into computer
• Interpret information already in computer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Technical or trade school training is a plus
• Experience working in a fabrication shop or factory setting is a plus
• Basic computer skills are required
