Fabrication Shop - Hanger

Job Summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Hanger for the Fabrication Shop. The Hanger is responsible for creating the hangers used to hang pipe in varying projects that the company completes. This job must be done in a timely and accurate manner, while working with small details and intricate designs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Pick materials needed to complete each project
• Read and interpret blueprints/sketches to measure and cut rod accordingly
• Assemble pipe hangers efficiently and accurately
• Bag, bundle, and band materials as directed
• Input information into computer
• Interpret information already in computer

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical or trade school training is a plus.
• Experience working in a fabrication shop or factory setting is a plus.
• Basic computer skills are required.
