About the role
S.A. Comunale is seeking a Hanger to support the Fabrication Shop. The Hanger is responsible for creating the hangers used to hang pipe in varying projects. This work must be done in a timely and accurate manner, focusing on small details and intricate designs. The role requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment with an emphasis on detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Pick materials needed to complete each project
- Read and interpret blueprints/sketches to measure and cut rod accordingly
- Assemble pipe hangers efficiently and accurately
- Bag, bundle, and band materials as directed
- Input information into computer
- Interpret information already in computer
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Technical or trade school training is a plus
- Experience working in a fabrication shop or factory setting is a plus
- Basic computer skills are required
