Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. (Goodwill) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC. We employ more than 1,100 team members dedicated to our mission of providing employment and training services that help people find jobs and reach financial stability. About the Role

This role is ideal for a goal-oriented, detail-focused individual who enjoys working independently, staying organized, and meeting production goals. Goodwill provides a host of eligible benefits to support you and your family after meeting a waiting period.

Responsibilities

• Sorting clothing: must have an eye for quality and consistently identify defects. Goodwill does not stock merchandise that does not meet its quality standards.
• Hanging and tagging clothing: requires focus to work efficiently and quickly while avoiding distractions.
• Maintaining a safe and neat work environment, taking pride in the efficiency of your area.
• May include cross-training in the following areas: Cash Register, Receiving, pricing, and stocking donations.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.
• Must be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday, 11 AM to 8 PM.
