Your Responsibilities
- Completing Maintenance & Repairs: Small to medium projects ranging from 2 hours to 2 days
- Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations: Communicate with customers, explain work scope, and manage costs
- Create Life-Long Customers: Deliver a great experience to ensure repeat business
You Will Need
- Self-management skills
- Customer service and communication skills
- Necessary tools, including technology
- Documentation of work using the Mr. Handyman Way
- Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently
- Safe working at heights and overhead
- Professional appearance and vehicle maintenance
Job Requirements
- Live within the area
- 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman
- Own your own tools
- Insurable for driving the company vehicle
- Background and driving record check completed
- Able to lift 50 pounds independently
- Able to safely work at heights and overhead
- Professional appearance and vehicle maintenance
- Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: Carpentry work, Bathroom improvements, Kitchen improvements, Painting, Drywall work, General plumbing and electrical, Floor installation and refurbishing, Familiar with building codes
